Because the world is full of idiots! If you don’t know I deal in customer service so you’ll have an idea of what to expect.
My shift was about over but I had time for one more call. I get a guy who is all set up and just wondering about adding a service. Once everything is explained he decide not to get it. So I just remind him of everything he already had set up. But, for some reason he says he was never told about he install fee (I checked it said he was). Then for the next half hour I explained how I couldn’t waive it. So I left work a half hour later then scheduled.
To top if off on the way home I get stuck behind an idiot who drives 10 below the speed limit. I couldn’t pass because of on coming cars, so I waited until there were 2 lanes on my side of the road. When we finally get there he drives in the middle of the 2 lanes! I mean really? How the f*** do these people get their licenses?
That’s my rant after that it was ok but I mean really? This is why wars happen people decide the world is full of to many idiots and feel it’s a time for “cleansing”.
Now when I saw WP 3 was out instead of switching the site to a straight forum I decided I would use it to test the new WP. And, well in all honesty I’m disappointed.
This doesn’t mean it doesn’t bring some nice features to the table just doesn’t feel like it should be called 3.0. If anything they just didn’t like the look of 2.10 and decided to go with 3.0 for that reason.
I do like what they’ve added especially with the new default them and the features such background and header images that come with it. However other than integrating MU I can’t think of anything that makes it a great release.
Also the while just looking around the same old Admin interface I find I’m very annoyed. Like while typing this the text is only taking up half the text box. I’m assuming it’s due to my resolution (1920×1080). Also when I click details while looking at theme or plug-ins through the admin panel it just makes a really skinny page instead of one that took up almost the whole page like it used to. So they messed up somewhere with the admin panel and their CSS.
Overall though I’m happy just not really excited by this release and again I feel it should have been 2.10.
