Either way I was playing League of Legends just a minute ago and I'm amazed at what happened.
First off my team was a team of noobs who didn't speak English(so I couldn't even tell them what to do). And, I was the only one that seemed to know what they were doing. As you might have guessed it didn't look to good for my team. I was running around the whole map just trying to kill the enemies before they killed us.
Once I got my build complete I decided to just attack and hope my team could defend long enough for us to come back. Well this ended up working in the end actually. I was able to get one inhbitor(then died). So I came back and got the other 2 (after defending the base one more time). Well by the time I got the other 2 the one I destroyed earlier had respawned. So I pushed that whole lane to destroy it. And, well we ended winning!
In the end I had 44 kills, 11 deaths(most due to being 5v1 ), and 5 assists. I also did about 255,000 total damage (probably due to my 500+ crits).
League of Legends
Well I've really gotten into this game as of late for some reason. If you have ever played DOTA on WC3 then you have basically already played this.
If you haven't played DOTA it stands for Defense of the Ancients. It's probably the most popular warcraft map of all time. What you do is you get 1 hero that you control and 4 team mates. There are 3 lanes (each with 3 towers) that lead to the base of the enemy. Right behind the 3rd tower in each lane is an inhibitor(this for LoL not DOTA as I never got into DOTA, so I don't know if there is an inhibitor in DOTA) and if you destroy this your team will spawn super minions for awhile (until the inhibitor you destroyed respawns). Sorry I forget to mention minions . Minions are non-human controlled units that spawn like every 30 seconds (don't remember the exact time). Each time they spawn you'll get 3 ranged and 3 melee(per a lane) ones that will down their lanes. And, back the super mions. These replace one of your normal minions but they are a lot stronger (even takes a hero awhile to kill them).
Ok, now once you have the inhibitor destroyed your team should be at the advantage. So you can either just try and win it or destroy more inhibitors to pretty much guarantee the win. But, in front of their final base is 2 more towers and well the base. You win once their base is destroyed.(or they surrender but that's boring)
Now about your hero! There are lot of different heroes available (They change the free ones every week). You can either buy them with influence points (which you get from playing games) or riot points (which you buy). So if there is hero you really like I recommend buying it so you have it available at all times.
With your hero you want to get them as strong possible as fast as possible. This is done through buying items and leveling up. Depending on your hero you may want a lot of mana regen or high attack damage. There is items for literally everything you could want an item to do (except teleport maybe).
Speaking of teleport you get 2 spells that aren't tied to your hero. I usually use Heal(which well heals me and the people around me ) and teleport (which teleports me to an allied unit or building). There is also the recall spell which has no cool down that takes you back to your base.
The only thing left to talk about I guess is the monsters in the jungle. These are computer controlled units that aren't part of either team. They usually are easy to kill and just provide some gold. However there are some that will provide your team with a buff. And, the best buffs will more than likely require 2-3 people on your team to take down. But, it may be well worth it as the buffs are very helpful.
I'm not really sure what else to talk about. I'm sure there are strategies but without a premade team it's not really that easy to come up with one and have it actually work out. So if you have any questions just post a comment.
